On March 16, Zhou Yuxian, Party Secretary and Chairman of CNBM and CNBM Company Limited, attended the first anniversary of the establishment of CNBM Equipment Group and the commissioning ceremony for the smart high-end equipment manufacturing park, witnessed the signing of CNBM Equipment Group's major projects, and delivered a speech. Attendees included Cui Kun, Director of the Standing Committee of Zhongwei Municipal People’s Congress of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Yao Fei, Secretary of the CPC Feidong County Committee of Anhui Province, and Liu Yan, Deputy Party Secretary of CNBM Company Limited and Chairman of Xintianshan Cement.

In his speech, Zhou Yuxian pointed out that, over the past year, CNBM Equipment Group has kept the big picture in mind, forged ahead with resolve, fared well in versatile tasks such as integration, production and operations, and ensured smooth transition from “separate development” to “integrated development”. He fully recognized the importance of the establishment and development of CNBM Equipment Group, and required Sinoma International and CNBM Equipment Group to plan the future from the standpoint of industrial development and a global perspective, pick up the pace of transition to high-quality development, and make every effort to develop high-end equipment with brand influence and become a mainstay underpinning the development of CNBM and Sinoma International towards world-class companies.

Zhou Yuxian emphasized that the commissioning of the smart manufacturing park is a very important event in the integration process of CNBM Equipment Group. In the first year of this process, CNBM Equipment Group created the first platform with a profit of more than RMB1 billion for Sinoma International. As for future tasks, he put forward four requirements: The first is to make positive contributions to the transformation of Sinoma International. The measures are to enable the gradual transformation from "project-driven expansion" to "promotion of project export through expansion" and provide robust support for Sinoma International's overseas expansion. The second is to make positive contributions to enhancing the competitiveness of CNBM’s basic building materials sector. The measures are to continuously improve overseas market shares and equipment, and push CNBM to the center of the world with best services. The third is to make positive contributions to the development of CNBM’s new materials sector. The measures are to consistently dedicate dual efforts to developing strategic emerging and traditional sectors, provide next-generation equipment for next-generation materials, and empower CNBM’s R & D, manufacturing, industrialization, and development of new materials. The fourth is to make positive contributions to the development of other industries with high-end technical equipment. The measures are to, based on the vision of “starting from cement, going beyond building materials,” fully tap the core technical strengths of the cement sector, accelerate expansion into external fields, and contribute equipment to the development of new energy, new technologies, and new materials at home and abroad.

During the ceremony, Zhou Yuxian witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements for major projects between CNBM Equipment Group and Xintianshan Cement, Ningxia Tianyuan Manganese Industry Group Co., Ltd., CBMI, Sinoma (Suzhou) Construction, and Sinoma (Handan) Construction.
