From May 10 to 14, the China Brand Day 2024, an event sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, were held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. CNBM, as a representative of central state-owned enterprises, was invited to fully demonstrate itself as a powerful Chinese manufacturer. Qu Xiaoli, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of CNBM, was invited to attend the launching ceremony of the China Brand Day 2024 and the branding conference for state-owned assets and enterprises. She also visited CNBM’s booth and the “Made in China” booth organized by Beijing New Building Materials Public Limited Company (BNBM) and Sinoma International at the China Association of Construction Enterprise Management.

CNBM's exhibits involved four major sectors: basic building materials, new materials, engineering and technology services, and logistics and trade. These exhibits showcased a series of CNBM's new technologies and products in recent years over the process of innovation, dual efforts to develop strategic emerging and traditional sectors, and the development of new production forces.

In the basic building materials sector, as the world’s largest cement company, CNBM exhibited new advances from its full implementation of the "cement +" strategy and high-end, intelligent and green transformation, changing the audience’s perception of building materials. In the new materials sector, as China’s representative in inorganic non-metallic materials, CNBM exhibited a series of self-developed products in emerging sub-sectors or those made of new materials, demonstrating its responsibility and commitment to develop CNBM into a powerful materials manufacturer in China and China into a materials powerhouse. In the engineering and technical services sector, it displayed engineering achievements in the cement sub-sector, the world's largest cement business line for 16 consecutive years, as well as other sub-sectors such as glass, power generation from waste heat, and geological surveys, to create another highlight of overseas expansion. In the logistics and trade sector, it exhibited new achievements in the exploration of new business models and the “Wo Zhao Che” logistics platform. These exhibits and the docent’s description won applause from the visitors, scaling up CNBM’s brand awareness and social influence.

During the media visit, many journalists from People’s Daily , Economic Daily ,  China News , Global Times , The Paper , and Phoenix News visited the CNBM booth and conducted interviews on a broad range of new materials and new production factors of interest. There were also visits from people from other central state-owned enterprises, local companies, brand service agencies and citizens in Shanghai. Everyone acclaimed the achievements of CNBM in basic building materials, new materials, engineering and technology services, logistics and trade, and digital transformation.
